Community Showcase Entries 2022

Our Community of Makers & Small Businesses in 2022

Here at Turners Retreat, we proudly support craftspeople by supplying some of the highest quality tools and materials in the industry. We love supporting people who enjoy creative hobbies or run their own small business, whether it be selling handmade products online or at craft fairs around the country.

Earlier this year, we launched our Community Showcase to further support our customers and their hobby and/or small business by providing an additional platform to showcase their handcrafted work.

Each month, we share a theme with our mailing list subscribers and social media followers. We invite them to create a new piece of work or share an existing one that is related to that chosen theme. We then upload images and links to their socials/website on our own website to potentially increase their online following and maybe even push some sales their way! It's a completely free opportunity as we want to support those who support us.

In this blog post, we've brought all the works submitted to us in 2022 together into one place for easy viewing. Grab a cuppa, get comfortable and scroll through the exceptional talent and fantastic creativity shared with us over the last 8 months!

We encourage you to click on an image to be redirected to the maker's social media page.

Please support small businesses where you can. Whether you like, follow or comment on their page or even make a purchase, it will certainly raise a smile and warm their heart.

Thank you!

To everyone who took part in our Community Showcase this year, THANK YOU! We love seeing your submissions and hearing about your stories and ideas. You inspire us month after month!

The themes in 2022 were all chosen by our late friend and colleague, Colette, who was extremely passionate about supporting our customers and their craft. We are proud to say that our Community Showcase will continue next year in Colette's loving memory, and with your help, we hope our Community grows, and the Showcase goes from strength to strength.

If you would like to find out more about how to submit your work and get involved, please click here.
