Below, you will find answers to some frequently asked questions that we've received from our customers. If you can't find what you're looking for, please get in touch.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Browse our online store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. If one or more of the items you have ordered is currently out of stock we will contact you and offer you further options.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Prices & Product Information

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.  To the best of our knowledge all information contained herein is correct.  We cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies of illustration, description or definition.  We are always looking to improve our product range and therefore reserve the right to withdraw items from time to time.  If the item you require is no longer available we will try to offer a suitable alternative where possible.

Pay in 3

Pay in 3 is an interest-free loan that lets you split your basket into 3 payments, with the first due at time of purchase and subsequent payments due every month on the same date. Please note that Pay in 3 is a form of credit, so carefully consider whether you can afford the repayments and be aware of the possible impact of missing payments, including future eligibility.

If you choose PayPal Pay in 3 as your payment method when you check out with PayPal, you'll be taken through the application process. You will get a decision instantly, but not everyone will be approved based on our internal checks.

Shipping and Handling Carriage / Postage

Under £50 - £5.25 Over £50 – Free

Special delivery postage costs will be shown at the checkout alongside the standard delivery charge.

Non UK Charged at Cost

Next Day Delivery, UK Only

If you would like to take advantage of our Next Day Delivery service please do so at the checkout.  If you would like your parcel delivered the next day, orders must be placed before 1pm.  Orders placed before 1pm on Fridays will arrive the following Monday.

Delivery Schedule

It is our aim to despatch your order within 1 working day of receipt.  If for some reason this is not possible, and despatch is not likely to take place within a week, we will endeavour to contact you. Deliveries to England, Wales and Scotland (excluding Highlands and Islands) should be made in 3 to 5 working days.  In the event of a delay or missing parcel, a re-despatch cannot be made until 14 working days after the date of despatch.

Back Orders

If you have placed an order for an item that is no longer in stock, we will inform you at our earliest opportunity. We cannot hold any back orders due to varying estimated delivery notices provided by our suppliers. You will always be called or emailed with the option to cancel the out of stock item from your order or exchange it for a similar item of the same value. 

To be notified of when a product is back in stock, you can sign up to an email notification by clicking the 'email me when back in stock' link on the product page. Once a delivery has arrived, an automated email will inform you that the product has become available again.

Tax Charges

For deliveries to the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added on items that are subject to VAT. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption.  They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.  They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Opening Hours

Our store and telephone lines are open Monday - Friday between 10am - 4pm. We are normally open between 10am - 3pm on the first Saturday of every month too. 

To avoid disappoinment, please ensure you check our latest opening hours before travelling to see us.

Privacy Policy

Turners Retreat Craft Supplies does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.  In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
