Long Bore Extendable Drilling System is the ideal solution for boring a starting hole in your hollow form work peice. This system consists of three steel rods. The 3/4' diameter stee lrods are extremely rigid which perfomrs muc hbetter than standard smaller diameter single rods when drilling on a lathe. This system easily mounts into the tailstock on your lathe without the need for a drill chuck or morse taper adapter. The system as packaged gives you a total reach of 9'. It is designed to accept forstner bits/drill bits with a 3/8' shank. Avialble in 2MT only.

"Exceptionally sturdy and cuts straight. Do expect to file your Forstner bits to fit thought as fit is tight and Forstner bit diameters are not to high tolerance (at least all the ones I had)."
