Thank you: Colette's Fundraiser
Last week, we held our first charity fundraiser at Turners Retreat in aid of Firefly Cancer Awareness & Support. The aim was to host a day that was a little bit different to raise money for a very worthy cause, close to our hearts.
We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our recent charity fundraiser in aid of Firefly. The day was a lot of fun! We had tea and coffee, some delicious home-baked cakes, a 'very random' tombola that raised a few smiles, and a big prize raffle too!
Friends and customers from all over the country visited us in-store and we were incredibly humbled that you travelled so far to join us on what became a very special day. It was great to see some new and familiar faces too; including Terry from Chestnut Products, Craig from Record Power, Martin from Hampshire Sheen, and Jo from Robert Sorby. Members of our team even gave baking a good go for the occasion and their cakes turned out brilliantly; they were delicious!
How much have we raised?
We are thrilled to announce that together, we have raised a fantastic £953! (£573 in-store and £380 so far online). We are overwhelmed by your generosity and honestly, we can't thank you enough for supporting a cause that means so much to us.
All funds raised will be donated to local charity, Firefly Cancer Awareness & Support, in the loving memory of our friend and colleague, Colette Sims.
