"I have already made a number of pen kits and have tried a few methods for assembling them from on the lathe, with a G clamp and in my vice but this device was just fantastic and so easy to use. Simple to set up and quick to use with its flip up stanchions and the spring loaded, self-feeding mandrel. The press pad on the mandrel has a small recess in it for holding the pen tips in place while you press the parts together which really helped and in all honesty it didn’t take much pressure or strength to use. I dont know what took me so long to buy it but I’m really pleased I did, well worth the money."
