Limited Edition Slim Parting Tool - Celebrating 25 Years of Turners Retreat
This is a Robert Sorby parting tool, but with a difference. The handle is made from Sherwood Forest Oak and engraved with Turners Retreat to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The slim blade allows for a very fine parted section to be achieved. This is especially useful when grain math after parting is required e.g. parting a lid for its box. The blade is 1 1/4" deep giving strength to such a thin section which eliminates flex and vibration.
