The North of England Woodworking & Power Tool Show 2019
With hundreds of makers, a vast range of brands and products, and prices starting at just a few pounds, the North of England Woodworking & Power Tool Show is an absolute must see!
This will be our 21st year appearing at this show and we're just as excited as ever! See us in Hall 1 at the Great Yorkshire Showground from Friday 15th - Sunday 17th November where you'll get to see a variety of the best-known woodturning, woodworking and woodcarving brands in the industry, including:
- Robert Sorby: widely regarded as the finest woodturning tool manufacturer in the world. Based in Sheffield, Robert Sorby have created ground-breaking tools that have been made by craftsmen for craftsmen for over an incredible 200 years.
- NOVA: new to our range! See state-of-the-art woodturning lathes, chucks and accessories, plus the world’s first smart drill press. We’ll have Joe, NOVA’s International Sales Manager, flying in from the USA especially for this event to answer your questions.
- Zebrano: top quality lathes from Belgium. Some call them revolutionary, a dream machine! Francis Tacq will be with us to show you how the Zebrano can tackle any woodturning project, it’s a monster that you absolutely need to see!
- Foredom: rotary accessories for every job. Woodturning professional, Mick Hanbury, will be demonstrating how these tools work and how to achieve the best results.
- Hampshire Sheen: Handmade and specially developed by Martin Saban Smith, Hampshire Sheen finishes will add a stunning, protective coating to your work. Perfect for all woodturning projects. Martin will happily answer all of your wood finishing questions.
Branko Dragan who has a wealth of knowledge on CBN Grinding Wheels will be joining us, along with Nigel Maddocks who can tell you everything about Longworth Chucks and, as always, a variety of our best-selling pen kits, blanks and accessories be on display and available to buy at the show.
We will also be joined by pyrography artist, Lisa Shackleton, who will be doing demonstrations throughout the weekend, and also giving you the chance to have a go at the art of wood burning using industry-leading pyrography machine by Peter Child.
