The heartwood ranges from pale flesh tones to a light pinkish-brown which may be enhanced by steaming, and has fine pores and rays. The grain is usually straight and the wood has a characteristically fine, even and smooth texture.
Pear wood blanks are available in squares and rounds. All sizes listed are in inches unless stated otherwise.
