"I agree that these make an excellent small project or gift and are very nice to handle, if a little on the expensive side - hence only 4 stars. I use forstner bits in three sizes 38mm 35mm and 28mm either on the lathe or in a pillar drill and these work well with the mechanism. They make a really nice object that you just have to pick up! "
