Brush Uses

• Round tip brush: Can be used in a number of ways such as to fill, to draw, to apply washes, to spot on small amounts of colour from the tip or produce a thin line for detail and varying thick to thin marks by drawing the brush away from the surface. Also useful for filling in larger areas.
• Flat tip brush: Flat or rectangular brushes have square, flexible ends and can hold a lot of paint. When used flat, they can make long strokes and are well suited to blending and painting in large areas. The tip and sides can also be used for more delicate lines and small touches.
• Angled tip brush: The bristles of an angled brush are cut at a slant, making it easier to paint clean lines. Use it for anything with grooves or when you are painting close to another surface.
• Fan brush: The fan's traditional use is for blending colours or softening hard edges. Yet the fan brush creates a wide range of mark-making possibilities.
• Filbert brush: Flat and oval-shaped, a filbert brush is ideal for blending and creating soft edges around natural objects like flower petals. 

How to Clean

Immediately after use, wash your synthetic brush with soap and warm water.

Soften dried-on paint with hot soapy water, just make sure to work quickly. Never soak or let the water seep into the base of the ?laments, into the ferrule.

After the dried paint has softened, work the soap through the brush bristles and follow with a clear water rinse.

Repeat the process if necessary.
