Rustina Aging Solution
Product Description
Rustina™ is a unique water-based system designed to provide an aged metallic look on a variety of surfaces including wood, metal, ceramic, glass and plastics.
To be used with paints from the Rustina Metallic Paint Aging System.
- Applied over the Metallic Copper or Bronze, the Blue-Green aging solution reacts with the metal in the paint to create a green patina of aged metal.
- Applied over the Iron Metallic Paint, the Brown-Rust aging solution reacts with the metal in the paint to create a rust coloured patina of metal.
It may be applied with a spray nozzle (included), a sponge, rag or with a brush.

- Use directly from the bottle or mix with Jo Sonja mediums to paint onto canvas, paper, wood, metal, fabric and glass.
- Use various techniques to apply Premium Pearlescent Acrylic including application using a brush or sponge.
- Premium Pearlescent Acrylic will have a shimmering, iridescent lustre resembling that of pearl. Layering will deepend the colour.
- Clean up with mild soap and cool water.
