These are detailing tools used on between-centre work, where the grain is running parallel to the lathe bed. Spindle gouges are used to create coves, beads and other profiles on goblets, vases, bed posts, candle sticks and other spindle projects. With an increased edge life by bonding Titanium Nitride to our existing HSS tools. Sharpen in the same way as a regular spindle gouge.
