Traditionally used by pattern-makers. A cabinet-maker’s favourite. A must for cleaning out hosing joints. Used for accurate horizontally paring. Robert Sorby Paring Chisels are the longest, flatest, and thinnest available anywhere. They are the supreme chisel - in a class of their own. Normally used with two hands. Nowadays often used to clean up after using a router. Sharpen each face individually using an oil stone. Fitted with a fine boxwood handle.
