Micro Turning Tools This is a modular system which utilises a lightweight, knurled handle that sits comfortably in the handle. All the tools shown below - micro sandmaster, spiralling tool and all ten blades - fit into the same handle so there is no need to keep buying handles. You can quickly and economically put together a comprehensive selection of tools. When fitted to the handle these tools measure approximately 9" (225 mm). This makes them ideal for miniature projects and pen turning. |

Micro Sandmaster The introduction of the micro Sandmaster comes from an increased interest by woodturners for producing smaller, more delicate work.
This system uses the same free spinning technology as the existing Robert Sorby Sandmaster but utilises a 1" (25mm) foam pad, onto which can be fitted the 1" (25mm) Velcro style abrasive discs. The position of the head can be adjusted so those awkward-to-get-at spots can be sanded.
The micro Sandmaster comprises of an aluminium handle, micro Sandmaster head, 1" (25mm) foam pad and eight abrasive discs, two of each of the 120, 180, 240 and 400 grits , two Allen keys and an instruction leaflet.

The modular set includes all the above except the handle.
The spiralling head is also available separately. In addition, there is a texturing cutter for those wishing to decorate miniature projects.
